Lana Deu Angel is a Berlin-based fashion brand developing women’s and unisex bags that combine functional design, textile experimentation, and responsible local production. The brand operates outside trend-driven fashion cycles and focuses on process-led design, material integrity, and long-term value.
Each bag is designed and sewn in the Berlin studio by the designer, using carefully selected deadstock fabrics sourced from fashion houses. Bags are produced either in small quantities or as one-of-a-kind pieces. Craftsmanship, tactility, and uniqueness take precedence over speed and scale.


Lana Deu Angel is a Slovenian designer based in Berlin. She studied haute couture tailoring in Italy and later fashion and costume design at Accademia di Costume e Moda in Rome. Her background in costume design led to professional work as a costume designer and scenographer within theatre contexts.
In 2024, she began focusing on bag design as an independent practice, and in 2025 founded the Lana Deu Angel fashion brand in Berlin.


The aim of the brand is to develop a strong, process-driven accessories line rooted in material research, careful craftsmanship, and responsible production. While the studio-based approach remains central, the brand seeks to gradually expand into selected European markets and to grow a small, dedicated team that supports production, coordination, and long-term development. Growth is approached intentionally, prioritizing quality, collaboration, and sustainability over scale.
